Yamaha XS650 by Glenn (from Retro Rockers Chopper Group)

My latest project was the XS, still have some things I would like to do to it. Love to strip the chassis and clean it up, too much of a hurry to get it on the road. Had plans to strip it this winter, but when my son dropped it late last year and it burst into flames I ended up redoing a lot to it which has left me broke for a while.  The Yammie is built from a 1972 XS650 with head stock raked and hardtail fitted.

Front end is a 1940's Indian Chief girder front end which has been lengthen. Front wheel is a standard 19 inch with disc but I plan to re-spoke this hub to a 21 inch rim sometime in the future. Tank is a genuine 1970's Mustang Tank. Motor is now a later model 1978 XS650 fitted with XS Performance big bore kit taking it out to just over 750cc.  Cam is a XS Performance item, likewise the performance oil pump, oil cooler and clutch assembly.  I have also upgrade the carbs to two 34mm Dellorto pumpers. Ignition is through a Boyer Digital Electronic System. Gearbox is basically standard except I have changed the ratio of the fifth gear to drop the rev's at cruising speed (made it an overdrive gear) and put on a 19 tooth drive sprocket.. Rear wheel is a 16 inch rim spoked to a Honda hub fitted with a smaller rear sprocket.

Triumph Bobber by Glenn (Retro Rockers)

Here are some photos of the my Pre Unit Triumph Bobber which runs a springer front end, 21 inch mini brake front wheel,  raked frame, 1956 big bearing 650 bottom end, Morgo big bore 750cc top end with E3134 cams, later model triumph bonneville 9 stud head, twin amals carbs, Morgo rotary performance oil pump, sparks electronic ignition etc.

Gearbox is a later B series 5 speed gear box  fitted into a N series pre unit gear box housing. Primary drive is through an after market belt system which is left open to the  elements. Rear wheel is a 16 inch Harley rim spoked to a triumph hub.  The electrics is powered from an 12 volt Alton Alternator which looks like the standard 6 volt generator. This alternator I imported from France.

The Triumph I have further plans for, like lengthen the rear hardtail by a further 3 inches as I am a tall bugger and when riding it is a bit uncomfortable. I would like to put disc brakes front and rear as the Triumph brakes are useless as I ride it quite hard. Also plan to change the oil tank, battery holder etc.

Then I have plans for the Harley...
