WELCOME TO RATTLERS
COUNTER BIKE CULTURE
Rattlers is a motorcycle enthusiasts' group based in Auckland, New Zealand. We are the guys who have to save, sell something, tell lies and wait for that cheap donor bike to show up, scavenge parts and scrap metal we think might come in handy to build bikes. The club ethos is to construct and ride low-budget 'Do it yourself' old school style bikes, be they metric, American, or British.
We build in bedrooms, carports & sheds, paint with cans and we learn our skills the hard way.
Rattlers is not about getting someone else to do all your work, or buying up all the coolest bobber snap ons you can find its about having a go yourself and building up your own skills, getting better each build!
If you have a build that you think fits with what we are about, we'd like to hear from you. Drop an email with some info along with photos and we'll post them!
If you are riding a stock bike with a few custom chrome snap ons, then please don't bore us with that. Post someplace else, or do the right thing and get the grinder on it pronto!
